I've seen a lot of resources and experiences about folks with younger kids, and lately lots of adults who have just been dragged kicking and screaming into 2025 and all of the neuro-awareness. Perhaps it's because I haven't researched much, perhaps it's because I like writing and relate to it well, but this is my space to sort through both my own issues and parenting issues of a late teen family. I never imagined before that my culture shock would be this big. Up until late 2024/early 2025, I felt like I'd been decently up on what the hip (yes, full irony) kids are up to. I have 2 daughters - 1 is 21 and in the US studying business, 2 is 17 and still at home. All of this sudden world awareness on neurodifferences coincided a few years after 2 was diagonised with Adhd, and we suspect Auhdhd. Is that the right term? A mi...
